WoW Talebound classes

Talebound has three classes, and all three are in the demo. Slayer mixes a sword with a gun. Inquisitor casts holy magic at range. Witch summons, dots, and turns into a cat. They share double jump, dodge, and guard. None of them has a Blizzard post that adds the kit to the regular game.

How the three kits differ

The table above is the whole class list. Slayer’s named kit is Slash, Explosive Shot, Minefield, Shrapnel Round, Throwing Knives, and Silver Bolt. Explosive Shot is described as paying off at point-blank range, and Minefield is a backward leap that leaves slowing mines. Inquisitor’s kit is Purify, Condemn, Denounce, Light’s Wrath, Rapture, and Radiant Burst. Denounce rewards standing still; Condemn and Radiant Burst can be cast while moving. Witch’s kit is longer, and the cat form is the only class mechanic with its own search traffic, so it has a Witch page.

Shared movement is not a class feature

Double jump, dodge, and guard are on every class. I do not list them as a reason to pick one. What changes is the weapon fantasy and which spells root you. The wow.gg PTR guide describes Slash, Purify, Denounce, and Rapture as stationary; Blizzard explicitly describes Denounce as rewarding standing still. Those descriptions suggest positioning trade-offs, not a measured difficulty ranking. Blizzard has not named mana, energy, or combo points for these kits, so those cells stay empty.

Will these classes come to base WoW?

No announcement says Slayer, Inquisitor, or Witch will become a retail class on the live game outside Talebound. The posts that exist call them Talebound characters with their own kits. I will not upgrade that silence into “never.” If you are choosing who to learn during the demo, start from the fantasy you want and the entrance steps, then look at rewards after a clear.

Questions people ask

Are Talebound classes coming to base WoW?

There is no announcement that moves Slayer, Inquisitor, or Witch into the regular class list. They are characters you create for the Talebound mode.

What are the new Talebound classes?

Slayer (sword and gun), Inquisitor (ranged holy magic), and Witch (lightning, poison, spiders, moonlight, and a cat form). All three are in the demo.

Which Talebound class is hardest?

Blizzard has not published a difficulty rating. Stationary casts are the part guides flag as the skill check. There is no tuning table that would support a tier list.
