The WoW roguelike is Talebound
If you searched for a WoW roguelike, the mode Blizzard is actually releasing is Talebound in patch 12.1.7. It runs in the World of Warcraft client. Blizzard describes a client mode rather than a browser release.

Talebound is the retail answer: a separate character, three classes, four stories, Quillgrave as the hub, and a run you can take solo or with friends. That is the page the overview covers. Project Ebonhold says itself that it is a custom Wrath project. Azeroth Survivors is a different codebase aimed at an old client format. Neither one is patch 12.1.7, and this page does not tell you how to connect to them.

Why the browser search exists
“Wow roguelike browsergame” is a real query. The pages that rank for the broader roguelike phrase are community projects, not a Blizzard web port. I checked the official news posts, the PTR notes, and the Wowhead guide for an embeddable or browser Talebound. They all send you to the Battle.net client. The demo is the same rule: 12.1.7 PTR, not a tab in Chrome. If a page offers a “play in browser” Talebound, it is not the mode described here.
What you do next, if Talebound is the one you wanted: read the release status (still TBA for the live patch), the three classes, and how to enter from the game menu. Name collisions with Tailbound and with WoW Forever are on the two comparison pages, not here.
Questions people ask
Is there a WoW roguelike browser game?
Not from Blizzard. Talebound is a client mode. Community projects exist, and they are not the 12.1.7 mode and not a browser port of it.
What is the new WoW game mode?
Talebound, the roguelite action-RPG mode in patch 12.1.7 Echoes of the Worldcore. You create a Talebound character and play stories from Quillgrave.
Is Project Ebonhold the same as Talebound?
No. Ebonhold is a separate Wrath of the Lich King community project. Talebound is Blizzard’s Midnight mode inside the retail client.
