Editorial policy
A fact needs two independent public sources before this site calls it confirmed. One source stays labeled as one source. When Blizzard’s own posts disagree, both versions stay on the page.

Status labels
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| OFFICIAL · N publishers | Blizzard is the primary publisher; N counts publishers covering the claim, not independent discoveries. Reprints and a shared datamine do not establish separate verification. |
| OFFICIAL · conflict | Two Blizzard texts disagree. Both are shown |
| OFFICIAL TBA | Blizzard has not published the date or the rule |
| ESTIMATE · 1 source | An outlet’s guess. A site that only quotes it does not add a second source |
| PTR | Read from PTR notes or a datamine, not from a live patch note |
| 1 community source | A forum thread, not an announcement |
| Gap | No public number. The cell is left blank |
What counts as a source
Blizzard news posts, blue posts, and PTR notes are the first pile. Wowhead, Warcraft news sites, and store listings are the second pile when they add a fact the first pile lacks. A page that only repeats Blizzard Watch is not a second discovery. YouTube counts when the title, the channel, and the upload date are the thing being cited. I do not treat a thumbnail as a new mechanic.
Checked dates on each page are the day those public pages were read. The site-wide pass for this version is 31 Oct 2026. A later edit changes that page’s modified time only when a fact changes.
Corrections
Email [email protected] with the URL and a public source. If the source holds, the page changes and the modified time moves. The source list is the catalog those labels point at. This site does not ask readers to redeem, clear, or time a boss in order to correct a sentence.
Questions people ask
Why are there two demo end times?
Blizzard’s promo post says 30 October–1 November. Blizzard’s PTR notes say 2 November at 10:00 PT. The policy is to keep both, not to average them.
Why is 8 December not the release date?
Blizzard has not published it. Blizzard Watch guessed it, and another site quoted that guess. That is one original source, so the label is ESTIMATE, and the official cell stays TBA.
