What cat form does

Feline Communion is the signature named on the Blizzard class write-up and repeated by Wowhead. Entering the form turns you into a cat, adds a star shower, and opens Crooked Path. The wow.gg PTR guide, rather than Blizzard’s announced kit, describes Full Moon as the burst that ends the form. My suggested loop is editorial interpretation: set up damage, step into the cat, cross a gap or a bad puddle with Crooked Path, then spend Full Moon when the form should end. Guides do not publish a duration, a cooldown, or a resource cost. Those numbers stay blank.

Crooked Path is described as a blink available during the form, not as a fourth class’s travel skill. Slayer’s disengage is Minefield, a leap that drops slowing mines. Inquisitor’s version of “commit” is standing still for Denounce. Witch’s version is a timed animal form. Compare the other kits on the class table.

The spell lines

The wow.gg PTR guide describes Brewing Storm as stationary and lists Full Moon as a cat-form finisher. Blizzard’s announcement does not specify that stationary-cast detail or name Full Moon. These remain guide-specific descriptions rather than official confirmation. Any suggested spell order here is editorial interpretation of the published kit, not a measured rotation.

Who the kit is for

Pick Witch if you want pets and a movement window, not if you want the gun. Slayer is the weapon combo. Inquisitor is the holy ranged caster who sometimes plants to empower Denounce. Witch is the one that asks you to keep summons and ground effects running, then cash them during cat form. All three still dodge, guard, and double jump. Those are mode rules, not Witch talents. The Scribe in Quillgrave is the NPC guides name for talents that modify abilities. Which Witch talents exist on the PTR is not a stable public list, so this page does not print a build.

Witch is in the demo, with Slayer and Inquisitor. Nothing in the announcement turns Witch into a retail class you can make on Stormwind’s character screen. The search phrase “talebound witch cat form” is about this mode. If you are still at the menu, the entrance order is on How to play.

Greenthistle Wood is the chapter that shares the fantasy: Granny Greenthumb, Witch of the Woods, and Ylska Vilefang, Witch of the Wilds. Playing the Witch class does not require that chapter, and the posts do not say the class is stronger there. It is the same word used twice. Boss mechanics for those fights are not published, so the stories table lists names only.
